Hey! Thanks for checking out the site. My name is Julie, and I am an artist working out of Orangeville, Ontario Canada. I have tried to incorporate as much of what I love to do as possible here, because it's much easier than lugging huge paintings around to show people : ) . As far as the inspiration behind what you will find here, that just depends on the day. I am a HUGE animal/movie/art/book/music/life lover, and am moved by more things than I can mention.
I just do what I can to get my own versions of things on paper so they are not lost to me, and if others can enjoy them as well, all the better. So please look around and get in touch with me if you have any comments or questions.

Nostalgia. Sweet yearning of days past. Dark memories glazed over and tucked away from my eager mind's eye. Beauty held in time as a jellyfish ever riding the water to secret destinations. How I love looking at my photographs. Piled high or strewn about, I thumb though them in no true order, recounting days at will. Our smiling faces. Summer nights and winter days. Secret love and dreamed embrace. Was I really so happy? Do my pictures lie? Not that I care, for the lie is sweet and tickles my face into a smile.

I believe I finally have it....IT it...the meaning of life ! I can now declare that I fully and completely believe the meaning of life, is..... that we ever got to have it to begin with. Thats it. Against all odds we have life. There is no ceiling of accomplishment or list of tasks to perform...Just life itself in all it's wonder.
And maybe cheese.
At least now I can get some sleep : )
